Cancellation Policy
Cancellations accepted up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival date
Due to high demand during the Stan Rogers Folk Festival we require a 2-Week notice of cancellation

Occupancy for cottage rentals is based on 2 adults, additional guests are $10 each per day plus HST

Environmental Standards:
We accept only biological holding tank treatments. As a conscientious camper, please do your part to help keep our environment clean.

Quiet time - 11:00PM
The quiet time policy was put in place to be fair to all guests and is strictly enforced. Noise after this time must not leave the campsite or cottage unit. Vehicles should only be used for emergency purposes as motor noise can disturb sleeping guests. Any disregard of this Park policy could result in immediate expulsion.

Visitor Rules
Park guests are permitted to have visitors, under the following restrictions:
    All visitors must leave the Park by 9:00PM.
    Upon arrival, all visitors must register at the main office.
    Guests are responsible for their visitors' actions.

Parking Policy
One vehicle per site - this rule is for the safety of all guests. As a family campgrounds, many of our guests are children. To reduce the risk of vehicle-related accidents, our campground has a strict policy of one vehicle per site. Visitor vehicles are not permitted in the main campground. Visitor and auxilliary vehicle parking is located at the office

Vehicle Speed Limit
10KM/HR For safety reasons, the speed limit while in the campground is 10 kilometers per hour.

Child Safety
Parents are responsible for the safety of their children at all times while in the Park. Biking/rollerblading/etc. after dark is dangerous and therefore not permitted - this policy is strictly enforced.

Proper Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a family-friendly manner, profane language and actions will not be tolerated. Use of alcoholic beverages must be confined to the user's site - this is in accordance with Nova Scotia law, violators could face fines. It is also illegal for anyone under the age of 19 to consume alcohol in the province of Nova Scotia.

Campfire Policy
Use only firepits/stoves where proviced. As hardwood burns at high temperatures that damage firepits, only softwood may be burned. Please do not burn garbage as doing so creates odours and pollution.

Smoking Policy
All Park buildings, including restrooms, are non-smoking. Violators may be fined. Guests must dispose of smoking materials properly.

Pets Policy
Pets must be kept on a leash and may not be left unattended. Guests are responsible for the clean up and noise control of their pets. For our guests bringing along pets, a cleaning fee of $20 shall apply to each cottage rental for the duration of your stay.
